It is a blessing that there are still young people who dare to speak.

We don’t have to agree with everything that the young people fight for, but we should try our best to understand them. I hope that everyone put aside the parental mindset and listen to the voice within the heart of the next generation. Let’s work together to resolve those meaningless generational confrontations, as well as the false propositions of supporting or opposing the police.

Resistance has always been a disgusting work. The scene of a protest or a dissent is filled with unimaginably high pressure. Who is born to love resistance? In a society, when a young person swallows under-served bitters, suffers undue pains, walks to the forefront yet receives the toughest reproaches, it is because WE, the adults, are not doing well.

Although they are not much younger than me, we are not them, after all. We are not able to stand in their shoes and decide for them if it was worthwhile to do so or not. However, I am convinced that as long as we are still breathing, and no one is missing, we shall all walk side by side, and shall eventually see the dawn.

As long as we never give up, we have already won half of the battle!
